花了一些時間，終於完成了 0.0.5 版了。後來才體驗到，如果瞬間透過 E4X 存取 XML 六千多次，那執行效能真的非常差。所以後來字典書的切換，用別的方式寫。效能就改善很多了。

當然這只是一個假說，而且要成立的話，必須要經過實驗的驗證。此外在記憶能力裡面，視覺記憶力一直是很重要的一個能力。假如背了一篇文章裡面有很多單字不懂，而又要放進長期記憶，除非是破除心理障礙與過往的學習常識，比較有可能。
當把具有許多生字的文章背起來之後，一口氣以電子字典查單字，野部猜想，效率可能會好些。
看來這個題目倒是值得研究研究。
有效率的方法，可視為一個捷徑，但是不可或缺的仍是「專注地下苦工練習」。因為我們都知道學英語，嚴格來說是沒有所謂「一步登天」的捷徑。
在本文，野部選取「美國之音(VOICE OF AMERICA)」中的一篇新聞，作為期一個月左右的精讀教材。只要這篇配合不同的練習，就能夠達成短期內大幅補足能力的效果。

練習一、眼速練習：
方法：當播報員唸新聞的時候，要求眼球能夠「跟上」並「看清」新聞稿每個字。
目標：一字不漏的看稿。
能力：提升閱讀速度。
練習二、語速練習：
方法：要求自己用和播報員同時間內，咬字清楚地唸完此篇新聞。
目標：時間內，一字不漏並咬字清楚地唸稿 (最好是能錄音檢討)。
能力：提升語速、刺激聽覺神經、刺激發音器官。
練習三、心筆練習：
方法：要求自己在聽新聞時，必須清楚的把聽到的單字用筆寫在心裡。
目標：時間內，一字不漏地用「心筆」記稿。
能力：刺激聽覺神經、想像力、英文筆記能力、刺激英文記憶力。
練習四、完全默寫：
方法：同一篇文章用上列三種方法反覆練習時，不知不覺也已經進入長期記憶區。
目標：(1)讀稿時間內，以潦草方式寫下全文；或者 (2)讀稿時間 2 ~ 5 倍，完全還原全文。
能力：寫作能力、刺激英文記憶力。
重點：在精不在多，扎實求內功。一篇就好。
