歐洲人的意見我是不知道，但是至少問問身邊的美國人吧，最想學的第二外語第一外語是什麼，基本上還是西班牙文。
個人真的覺得在台灣的華語教學、數位學習、文化創意產業一樣，都是政府拿錢砸出來的扭曲、自我催眠的趨勢。
奇怪的是，這些東西在別的國家就是真的發展的很好(華語教學除外)，來了台灣，數位學習(美國)、文化創意產業(日本)都成了教育部拿來分配資源的工具。
說真的，教育部長換人上台，依然是罄竹難書。還是延續前朝惡搞納稅人的錢，讓各個學校申請一堆形式計畫，繼續延續各校教育資源分贓文化。偶有成就就讓媒體大幅報導，一年幾十億預算耶，換來幾篇新聞稿，何爽有之？
真的是趨勢？還是只是為了讓一些人不要失業的掩護？說真的，大家只要有錢拿就好，管他那麼多。今朝有酒今朝醉，真是台灣當今最佳寫照啊。
這篇是純粹技術性的文章。完全屏除自信心高低和臉皮厚不厚的問題。主要是用解決開不了口，話說不長的問題。
英語會話的開頭：

英語會話的連接式拉長技巧：
連接詞、連綴動詞、關係代名詞、省略關係代名詞/過去分詞、介係詞、慣用片語/數量片語。
英語會話的常犯錯誤：
第三人稱S問題、單複數問題、時態問題、用詞精準問題、一句話不斷重複、太多停頓、太多「啊」。
英語會話的基礎：
單字要熟、文法要會、聽力要好。

首先先提到 iTunes 的運用。
野部抗拒用iTunes 作為 Podcast 管理軟體已經好幾年了，因為這套軟體跟 Windows Media Player 一樣，實在是太癡肥了。
不過最近，野部終於受不了了，只好把 iTunes 裝上去，發現也沒有那麼難用。
原因是因為，美國總統選出來了，結果各家新聞台還是一直在談論，從 "Change"、 "Yes, we can!"、到歐普拉在歐巴馬勝選演說的那張哭臉，被 Kuso N次了，連歐巴馬要挑什麼狗進白宮，也是講了又講。看都看到反胃了。不但沒有什麼國際新聞，連 Local 的新聞少之又少，怪不得人家說美國人沒有什麼國際觀，其來有自…。
裝上 iTunes 之後，開始直接在 iTunes Store 訂閱了好幾個 Podcast，說實在的，iTunes 除了太癡肥以外，跟其他 3-Party 的 Podcast 管理軟體相比，在 Podcast 頻道的搜尋上，還挺 Friendly。目前訂閱了下面幾項：
國際新聞：(找了 CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, FOX，才找到這兩個…囧…)

國內新聞：就隨便找幾個，CNN跟ABC是野部個人的習慣，其他朋友可選擇其他。

航太知識：這個算是超高度挑戰，語速比新聞還要再快上1.5 倍，看女主持人來自NASA 太空總署，就知道，可以學到很多航太知識。

健康知識：這個是宿舍附近的 Bloomington Hospital 所提供的，討論健康，可惜只有16集就停止了。

有些視訊的畫面比用家裡的電視看還清楚。
另外關於聽力訓練的部分，也一併詳述。
其實聽力訓練的目標只有一個，就是把視覺依賴轉換成聽覺依賴。過程中有三層殼，必須要層層脫去。各層脫去時間可能需要一到兩個月，全程需要半年以上，需要的是耐心，不斷練習到大腦產生化學變化為止。
野部在7、8 年前就針對語言學習提出第五技能–思，想像力訓練也是思的一種。許多速讀法、記憶法、大腦開發法都有提到，一定要盡力的練習。
另外一方面，聽覺能力也必須靠海馬迴的運作。海馬迴掌握人類短期記憶的儲存。我們聽過的人類短期記憶一個有名的理論就是魔術數字七。就是一個人可以瞬間記憶 7 個電話號碼數字，打完電話後，馬上就會忘掉了。
但是，海馬迴不是不能擴充的。要擴充，就是去用他，用越頻繁，瞬間記憶容量越多 (哈，跟USB隨身碟相反)。
練習一：新聞上講的一個短句，能否做到一字不露的用嘴巴說出呢？
練習二：新聞上講的一個短句，能否用內心產生聲音，一字不露的重新播放呢？
以上算是野部學外語的畢生絕學，道理點破不值錢，人人都知道，但是那沒有用，要達到，還是只能靠練習，就是這麼簡單。
昨天看著電視，CBS、ABC、CNN、以及其他的新聞頻道，都同步轉播了這場精采的演說。半夜時分，印第安那大學校園宿舍外，不時傳來狂叫聲，伴隨警車的聲音。
本想試著聽打出文字稿，沒想到早就有人手腳很快，影片也早就被上傳到Youtube了。不過昨天看Live的還是非常感動。

It’s the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen, by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different, that their voices could be that difference.

Let’s remember that it was a man from this state who first carried the banner of the Republican Party to the White House, a party founded on the values of self-reliance and individual liberty and national unity.

Those are values that we all share. And while the Democratic Party has won a great victory tonight, we do so with a measure of humility and determination to heal the divides that have held back our progress.

As Lincoln said to a nation far more divided than ours, we are not enemies but friends. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection.

This election had many firsts and many stories that will be told for generations. But one that’s on my mind tonight’s about a woman who cast her ballot in Atlanta. She’s a lot like the millions of others who stood in line to make their voice heard in this election except for one thing: Ann Nixon Cooper is 106 years old.
這次大選有許多創舉和故事足供世世代代傳頌。而今晚浮現在我腦海的，是在亞特蘭大投票的一位婦人。她和這次大選無數排隊投票以表達心聲的選民沒什麼差別，不同的只有一點，安．尼克森．庫柏已高齡一百零六。
She was born just a generation past slavery; a time when there were no cars on the road or planes in the sky; when someone like her couldn’t vote for two reasons _ because she was a woman and because of the color of her skin.

When there was despair in the dust bowl and depression across the land, she saw a nation conquer fear itself with a New Deal, new jobs, a new sense of common purpose. Yes we can.
就在塵盆地帶（指美國大草原的一部分，大致包括科羅拉多州東南部、堪薩斯州西南部、德州與奧克拉荷馬州鍋柄形突出地帶）陷入絕望，大蕭條席捲美國全境之際，她目睹一個國家以新政、新的工作機會、新的和衷共濟精神克服了恐懼本身。是的，我們做得到。
When the bombs fell on our harbor and tyranny threatened the world, she was there to witness a generation rise to greatness and a democracy was saved. Yes we can.

She was there for the buses in Montgomery, the hoses in Birmingham, a bridge in Selma, and a preacher from Atlanta who told a people that We Shall Overcome. Yes we can.

And this year, in this election, she touched her finger to a screen, and cast her vote, because after 106 years in America, through the best of times and the darkest of hours, she knows how America can change.
